Find Your Moment Of Zen With These Beautiful Disneyland Scenes
If you’re a Disney theme park fan, chances are (like us) you’re missing home big-time. That’s why, with a little help from our friends at DisneyMagicMoments, we’re excited to share with you some of our favorite Disneyland scenes to make you feel like you’re right at “home.”
From the tranquil, familiar sounds of the Mark Twain Riverboat to the whoosh! of Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, you’ll honestly feel, even if only for a moment that you are in the middle of your favorite theme park enjoying the amazing vistas!
Let’s go on a mini virtual tour! Are you ready!?
We’ll start with an absolute classic, a ride on the Mark Twain Riverboat! Did you know that the boat actually had the distinction of being the first paddle wheeler built since the turn of the century? The boat itself was built at Disney HQ but the hull was made at a shipyard. It made its inaugural voyage four days before Disneyland theme park opened to the general public for Walt and Lillian’s 30th Wedding Anniversary.
After that tranquil boat ride, let’s head over to Radiator Springs for the high-speed thrills of Radiator Springs Racers. I love that you can hear the birds chirping in the background! One of our absolute favorite lands in all of Disney, this scene showcases the amazing Cadillac Mountain Range. These peaks tower up to 125 feet in the air and are meant to represent the Cadillac tail fins from 1957,1958, 1959, 1960, 1961 and 1962. Pretty amazing right!
Next up, are you ready to take the plunge with Grizzly River Run? Do you know this white-water rapids ride has an incredible backstory? According to legend, a coyote met a grizzly bear on top of the mountain. Since the bear was such a powerful creature, the coyote asked him to watch over and protect the land. Even when people entered the mountain range and tried to chase the bear down, he held firm. The coyote noticed the bear was alone so he turned the bear into stone so he can never be driven away. If you look closely you’ll still see him there and sometimes you may even hear him!
For those looking to dry off and enjoy the sunshine, can we recommend a ride through Big Thunder Mountain Railroad!? Did you know that there are six trains that weave their way through the tunnels and caverns of the mine! Each of the trains boasts a very clever name. These are I.M. Brave, I.B. Hearty, I.M. Fearless., U.B. Bold, U.R. Courageous and U.R. Daring.
We hope that these magical morning scenes helped to transport you (if only for a moment or two ) to the incredible sights and sounds of Disneyland Resort!
