New Permits Filed for Guardians of the Galaxy Coaster Amid COVID-19 Shutdown
Disney Imagineers are sure keeping busy during this COVID-19 shutdown! Earlier today, we reported that permits have recently been filed for Walt Disney World’s next resort, Reflections – A Disney Lakeside Lodge. But those aren’t the only permits that gave been filed as we also found three new permits for the Guardians of the Galaxy Coaster coming to Epcot.

The permits that were filed for the Guardians of the Galaxy Coaster are as follows:
- Fabricate and Install Pieces
- Lightning Controls – Low Voltage Terminations
- Install Graphics, Entrance, and Set Structures
While not much information is given on these Guardians of the Galaxy Coaster permits, one can assume that these have to do with the overall theming of the ride.
An exact opening date for the Guardians of the Galaxy Coaster has not yet been revealed by Disney. However, it is scheduled to open sometime in 2021.
