10 Things You Might Not Know About Club 33 in Disneyland
Have you been lucky enough to get inside Club 33 at Disneyland? If so, then you probably know all of these secrets. But, if you’re like me and haven’t had your chance to experience the magic of the exclusive club yet, there are 10 secrets provide by OCRegiser.com.
1. It’s Hidden in Plain Sight
Wondering where Club 33 is located in Disneyland Park? It’s actually easier to find than you would think. It’s located in New Orleans Square behind a green door. You will see a bronze buzzer on the left side of the door that must be rung to gain access. If you look above the door, you will see the iconic “33” logo.
2. Club 33 at Disneyland was Created by Walt Disney
Walt Disney himself was actually the brains behind Club 33 at Disneyland. He initially wanted it to be just for executives who had sponsorships in the Park. He started planning the Club in 1967 but unfortunately, the first membership wasn’t offered until after his death in 1970.
3. Club 33 has a Fancy Ladies’ Restroom
As you would imagine, even the bathrooms at Club 33 in Disneyland are extra fancy. Ladies visiting the bathroom will spot a fainting couch as well as a hand-painted, gilded sink.
4. More Bathroom Fanciness: Club 33 Hand Towels
Even the hand towels in Club 33 at Disneyland are a collectors item. They are embossed in gold with the “33” logo. You can find them from time to time listed for sale on eBay.
5. Two Levels of Memberships
Club 33 offers two levels of memberships: Gold and Platinum. While each membership level will offer you extra-magical perks in the Disneyland, the Platinum membership allows access tot he 1901 Club in Disney California Adventure.
The 1901 Club in Disney California Adventure is located on the ground level next to Carthay Circle restaurant. It opened in 2014 and offers just cocktails and snacks.
6. Club 33 at Disneyland’s Mascot
Yes! Club 33 in Disneyland does have a mascot. It is an animatronic vulture named Alfred. He moves around quite frequently but has currently been spotted atop the grandfather clock in the foyer.
7. Special Members-Only Events
Club 33 Members at Disneyland are invited to members-only special events for an extra charge. Examples of events are an after-hours Jazz Fest in New Orleans Square, festive Christmas and Easter parties, as well as “field trips” to iconic Disney locations such as Walt Disney’s Smoke Tree Ranch.

8. Membership Costs
While many people think they know the cost of a membership, they really don’t! Rumors state the cost is $50,000 but the OCRegister.com reports that only Disney really knows the real number. Prices can increase at any time and there’s a wait list that is reportedly decades long.
9. Special Club 33 Swag
Club 33 Members at Disneyland can select from unique swag including pins, hats, Tiki mug, seasonal items, and other items. All of course are displayed in special, lighted case.
10. Club 33 Values Member’s Privacy
As you exclusive Club 33 in Disneyland is, you can bet they are going to take privacy measures to the extreme. Members are Guests are not permitted to film videos and there is a limit to the amount of photos that can be taken.
