I think the CDC has made it very clear. No events or gatherings with more the 50 people. You are literally going to corral 10’s of thousands of people in less than a month and think that’s ok.
My daughter and I have ran this race going on our 3rd year, but have decided to pull out and not participate this year.
When she called and spoke with a rep Todd, he said no refunds, she spent hundreds on this weekend because she is doing them all even the virtual. When she asked if the money she paid could be donated to the Make a Wish foundation, she was told no.
This comes down to just greed on Disney’s part. You are not considering the Heath and welfare of all the people involved in this. Example… First responders, law enforcement, medical staff and all the Disney employees along with thousands of runners.
Our first responders, law enforcement and medical professionals need to be focused on the people in need.
POSTPONE THE RUN, IF THAT MONEY MEANS SO MUCH.
