Proceeds For Jaleo Gift Cards To Go Directly To Staff Impacted By Disney Springs Shutdown
Over the last few days, here at MickeyBlog HQ, its hard not to feel like the bearer of bad news with all of the story of Disney Springs closures including Homecomin’, Wine Bar George, House of Blues, Raglan Road and more.
However, amidst all of this sadness comes an awesome gesture from Jaleo to support all of their employees that are impacted by the Disney Springs closure. Check out their official tweet here:
Today we launched a special e-gift card program with 100% of proceeds going directly to our employees: half toward extending pay and benefits, and half toward ThinkFamilyFund, which helps support our employees and their families during financial hardship. https://t.co/wjnIX1UoAU

Not only does this beloved Disney Springs eatery have some of the most amazing paella we’ve ever had but they set up a special TFG Employee Fund Gift Card to directly support employees. You can find the website here.
The message on the Jaleo website reads as follows:
As the COVID-19 pandemic continues to take a growing toll on the hospitality industry, we’ve been overwhelmed at the outpouring of support from our guests about alternative ways to support the TFG family.
In response, we’ve created a special edition ThinkFoodGroup Employee Support Fund e-gift Card, with 100 percent of the proceeds going directly to our employees during this challenging time. This special e-gift card, valid at most of our restaurants, is available via our website until April 30 and is currently available at a 20 percent discount.
These e-gift cards will support our employees in two important ways:
- Fifty percent of all proceeds will help extend compensation and health benefits for our employees as long as possible
- The remaining 50 percent will support ThinkFamilyFund, our company’s non-profit organization that provides financial relief to TFG employees and their families experiencing extreme hardships
What a wonderful way to make employees feel supported during an especially stressful time.
