Disney College Program Releases Statement to Cast Members
The Cast Members participating in the Disney College Program got notice yesterday that the program would be ending on March 16th. To make the situation even worse, they were told they needed to leave their housing no later than March 18th. This obviously upset and put a lot of people in a panic. The program that they love so much was abruptly cut short.
Disney got word of how hurt and saddened the College Program Cast Members were about this decision. They received this statement:
We know these are extremely difficult times & appreciate your continued understanding. We are basing our decisions on the safety and well-being of our Cast Members and Guests. No one will be without accommodations. Please read our letter to you. pic.twitter.com/uqdDfZdKfW

Disney World parks are closing tomorrow through the end of the month due to the Coronavirus outbreak. There is so much uncertainty with this whole situation and it’s so sad.
