Popular ‘Frozen’ Dolls RECALLED in Europe

A popular set of Elsa and Anna dolls from Disney’s Frozen have been recalled in the UK, according to reports from CambridgeshireLive. This recall should not affect many US consumers, however, the dolls have been sold online. The retailer Alibaba.com markets discounted products from China, and these dolls contain excess levels of phthalates.

The chemical helps make plastic durable and flexible but can be extremely damaging in high levels. This can include damage to the liver and reproductive organs. Unfortunately, this image is all that is available to share. If you have purchased these dolls online be sure to return them.

The European Commission has issued this urgent recall and considers the threat level to be serious. Take caution if you have purchased these dolls from Alibaba.com. The health risk for children is reportedly greater than for adults.
