Celebrate Cinderella at the Magic Kingdom This Valentine’s Day
Disney has no shortage of wonderfully romantic films but the one that usually steals the show is Cinderella. Her strong presence at the Magic Kingdom is one of the things that make this theme park so full or romance and whimsy!
That’s why on this Valentine’s Day, we thought we’d share a few of the delightful Cinderella-themed touches worth check out!
Cinderella Castle
Soaring 189 feet into the air, it doesn’t get more magical than Cinderella Castle. Within its private gates, you’ll also find the Cinderella Castle Suite. This is an exclusive accommodation by invitation only and is filled with magical princess-themed touches! The main backdrop at Magic Kingdom, couples have long captured their romantic moments in front of her stately visage.
Cinderella’s Wishing Well
This is a popular spot for wedding proposals. Its the perfect calm spot for reflection and romance amidst the hustle and bustle of the theme parks. If, like many other visitors you throw you spare change into the well please know that it goes to charity!
La Fontaine de Cendrillon
This bronze statue of Cinderella can be found as the centrepiece of a fountain near the castle. It was created by Disney Legend Blaine Gibson in 1965. That’s 6 years before the Magic Kingdom opened in 1971.
Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique
Make fairy tales come true for your little princess or brave night! This popular spot located on the ground floor of Cinderella Castle is where kids go to have royal head-to-toe transformations at the hands of their very own Fairy Godmother-In-Training!
Prince Charming Regal Carrousel
The centrepiece of Fantasyland features 90 unique wood-carved horses. The Carrousel is actually 100-years old and was built in 1917 as the Liberty Carrousel in Detroit Michigan. It was one of the attractions that opened with Magic Kingdom back in 1971.
Cinderella’s Royal Table
A dining experience like no other, you’ll remember that first moment when you enter the grand Banquet Hall complete with stained-glass views of Fantasyland. During your meal, you’ll even get to meet Cinderella herself who is on hand to pose for photos as well as other Princesses who make the rounds to say “Hello.”
Princess Fairytale Hall
“Once upon a times” really do come true and at Princess Fairytale Hall you can have your own storybook moment with Cinderella and her fellow Disney Princesses who are on hand to meet with guests and pose for photos.
It’s easy to see the charm and romance that “Cinderella” represents living on, happily ever after, in Magic Kingdom Park.
