“It’s not a normal day when Shrimpy is around,” said Milo Manheim to the camera’s as Zombies “Zed” discussed the upcoming sequel. “That’s what we always say on set.”
Really, Milo?
Let’s be honest: Is there ever a normal day on a movie entitled Zombies 2?
Zombies Sequel Coming Soon
Disney Channel described the upcoming TV movie, as a “music- and dance-filled story that picks up as cheerleader Addison and zombie football player Zed are readying for Seabrook High’s Prawn, the school’s super-sized prom.”
Get it, prawn?
Yep, the fun of this set of films is setting a horror trope in a teenage rom-com.
Zombies, Werewolves, and Monsters. Oh my!
The synopsis also teased:
When a group of mysterious teenage werewolves, led by Willa, Wyatt, and Wynter, unexpectedly arrive in search of an ancient life source buried somewhere in Seabrook, a fearful city council reenacts Seabrook’s anti-monster laws, making it impossible for Zed and Addison to attend prom together.
Yep, you read that correctly; zombies, werewolves, and monsters. Oh my!
And, of course, don’t forget “Mighty Shrimpy”:
