Junior Golfers Join the Fun at Walt Disney World
Walt Disney World will host a golf team during the upcoming 2020 PGA Junior Golf Season. The PGA Junior League Golf program is designed to provide a fun, social and inclusive opportunity for boys and girls age 13 and under to learn and enjoy the game of golf.
Ambassadors
PGA Junior League Ambassadors include Rory McIlroy and Rickie Fowler from the PGA tour, the LPGA Tour’s Michelle Wie and Lexi Thompson, NBA MVP Steph Curry and Olympic Soccer Gold Medalist Alex Morgan. All ambassadors have a history of supporting youth programs, youth sports, exercise, health and wellness of youth.

Teams
Teams will consist of eight to twelve players. PGA and LPGA professionals will serve as captains for the teams. For the Walt Disney World Golf team, the captain will be Michael Schlager, the PGA Director of Instruction. There will typically be four to seven teams from a common area (like South Orlando). Local events will take place between April and July.
