Disney Balloons Make an Awesome Vacation Souvenir
If your little ones are anything like mine, they will immediately notice the awesome Disney balloons as soon as they enter the theme park!
You may not initially have considered Disney balloons as a souvenir that you could enjoy during your trip (and even after!), but I have five reasons why they make an awesome souvenir!
A Stroller Locator
Disney balloons are a great way to spot your stroller! If you haven’t been to Disney in years you will be amazed at the sure number of strollers you see throughout the theme parks.
Before you get on any attractions or go in most restaurants you will need to park your stroller at one of the designated areas nearby. Some of the areas can have hundreds of strollers.

It can be difficult to locate your stroller when you come back because often Disney Cast Members will move them around to make room for more. Having one of these Disney balloons tied to your stroller makes it much easier to spot!
Photo Enhancers
They make a great addition to pictures! When you stop at various Photopass photographers in the parks be sure to ask for some pictures with your balloon.
My family has had some of our favorite pictures with those balloons over the years, including one where the photopass photographer photographed my family’s reflection in the balloon. Pictures along Main Street and in front of the Castle make an awesome background for pictures with the balloons.
They Can Park Hop Too
You can take them with you to other Disney theme parks! If you purchase your balloon at Magic Kingdom you can bring them with you if you go to Epcot or Hollywood Studios or even walk around Disney Springs.
The only exception to this is Animal Kingdom. They do not sell balloons at Animal Kingdom and for animal safety reasons they are not permitted in the park.
Exclusivity
You can only get them at Disney Parks! These amazing balloons are only sold at Disney Parks.
You cannot find these special balloons sold anywhere else or at any party supply store.
You Might Not Have Known
You can take them on an airplane! Believe it or not, you can actually take them home with you on an airplane if you are flying out of Orlando International Airport (or MCO as you frequent visitors know).
Before you go through security, stop by the Magic of Disney Store at the airport and they will deflate your balloon for you for free! When you get home you can take them to a local party supply store to be inflated again. I was told to be sure the inside balloon is inflated first when I decide to refill it.
To some it may not seem like a “must have” souvenir on your Disney vacation but they are one of my favorite things to purchase on my first day visiting the parks. The sight of the cast members carrying the large display of balloons down Main Street is one of the coolest things to see at Magic Kingdom.

Sometimes they will even let you pose for a picture holding the entire bunch of balloons! Be sure to have some cash available on your next Disney vacation so you can purchase one of these amazing balloons!
