Not only are there are the usual fabulous Christmas-themed offerings from Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party to the incredible Holiday Kitchens at Epcot, but there are also some new noteworthy additions to this year’s Christmas line-up.

This year at Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party it is all about Minnie! This year Disney has introduced the all-new and definitely dazzling Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime fireworks display. Minnie herself serves as the Master of Ceremonies for this polka-dot infused nighttime spectacular featuring a projection show, incredible pyrotechnics, and soundtrack featuring much-loved holiday classics.
Holiday Cookie Stroll – Epcot
Starting on November 29th, guests can Grab your Festival Passport and travel through the World Showcase to find the 5 official cookie stroll locations. Each stop will offer a delicious dessert for purchase and a stamp for your Festival Passport. Once you’ve collected 5 stamps, bring your Passport to the Sweets & Treats Holiday Kitchen to receive a complimentary Santa Mickey Sugar Cookie!

This activity is perfect for the whole family and can be completed at your leisure. You can bring your stamped Passport to Epcot at any time during the Festival of the Holidays to complete your stroll. This year Epcot will also be selling a cute Chip & Dale Cookie Jar that you can use to store all of your Christmas cookie treasures! It makes the perfect souvenir!
Tony’s Most Merriest Town Square Celebration – Magic Kingdom (During Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party)
Cap off your evening at Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party and keep the festivities going at a special celebration—select nights November 8 to December 22, 2019. During this event you’ll be treated to a delicious all-you-care-to-enjoy buffet of hors d’oeuvres and tempting treats! Raise a glass to toast family and friends with a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. The event takes place at Tony’s Town Square Restaurant and comes with reserved viewing for the fun and festive Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade.
The event is held on the following evenings:
November 8, 11, 12, 14, 15, 17, 19, 21, 22 and 24
December 1, 3, 5, 6, 8, 10, 12, 13, 15, 17, 19, 20 and 22
Pricing
The cost to attend is $99 plus tax for all Guests. Reservations can be made via My Disney Experience. A valid Very Merry Christmas Party ticket is required and is not included in the cost.
Gingerbread Cabin – Disney’s Wilderness Lodge
One of our favorite resorts to stay at during the holiday season is definitely Wilderness Lodge. From the lush wood interior to the smell of pine in the lobby to the roaring fireplace, it says Christmas more than any other resort. And this delxue resort has upped their Christmas game even more with a wonderfully rustic gingerbread cabin holding court in the lobby. So stop by and marvel at the incredible craftmasnship not to mention sugar that wen’t into bringing this new holiday display to life!
Wintry Tree of Life Awakentings – Animal Kingdom Theme Park
The iconic Tree of Life at Animal Kingdom has been given a wondrous winter makeover this Holiday Season. It comes to life via state-of-the-art projections each evening featuring animals that learn about snow, the seasons and the meaning of holiday spirit. There are three different awakenings to try to see them all! The titles are “First Snow”, “Gift Giver” and “Season of Light.”
Disney’s Riviera Resort
There’s a new Walt Disney World Resort to explore this holiday season! Disney’s new Deluxe property – The Riviera Resort will open its doors to guests on December 16th. On Disney’s Skyliner tour the property is easily accessible from both Hollywood Studios and Epcot. Thought the property hasn’t yet announced specific holiday plans – being that it is Rivera’s inaugural Christmas we reckon they have some surprises in store! In addition you’ll also find a new character dining experience with Mickey and friends and Topolino’s restaurant is also offering special New Year’s dining events offering delicious french-inspired cuisine and incredible views!
Merry Menagerie – Animal Kingdom
During the daytime, the streets of Discovery Island come to life with a wintry puppet parade featuring the all-new Merry Menagerie. This troup of life-sized polar bears, penguins, foxes and more interact with guests to the utter delight of little Disney visitors. When they are out and about the experience is set to a recorded sountrack of holiday music with accompaniment by a band of strolling musicians.
Special Holiday Decor & Activities – Animal Kingdom
In addition to the activities listed above, Animal Kingdom theme park is pulling out all the stops this holiday season and is brimming with holiday decor and more! Each of the gorgeous lands making up the theme park are decorated for the season . For instance, Asia pays tribute to Diwali (Festival of Lights) with thousands of color lanterns. Over at Dinoland U.S.A. Donald and friends can be found in their holiday attire and surrounded by lights and decorations. Even Pandora – The World of Avatar is getting in on the fun with a vintage nutcracker and menorah as well as a toy soldier robot and a sleigh pulled by banshees.
Attractions With a Holiday Twist – Magic Kingdom
Magic Kingdom has added some special holiday touches to select rides and attractions this year! Over at Tomorrowland Speedway the track now takes you past brightly lit snowballs, holiday trees and scattered Christmas gifts. You’ll also hear modern holiday tunes playing the background. You can slo head over to Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor where Roz is hanging out in her ugly holiday sweater. Space mountian is keeping the lights on the Holiday Season, there’s lots of holiday lights and a Trans Siberian Orchestra Christmas soundtrack. Also over in Fantasyland, Mad Tea Party as been given a big dose of holiday magic and now features a snowflake light sow and holiday music!
