7 Reasons Why We’re Already Excited For the Epcot Festival of the Holidays
Though most of the Disney holiday focus is on the incredible events held at Magic Kingdom each Christmas Season, one of our favorite places to celebrate is at Epcot with their stunning Festival of the Holidays Celebration. Festival of the Holidays will officially kick off on November 29th and runs through until December 30th! The Fest is an absolute treasure trove of Christmas delights including awesome eats, lively entertainment, cultural experiences, fireworks and so much more!
To give you a taste of why Epcot is the place to be this December here are 7 things we love about the Festival of the Holidays!
The Chance To Learn How Holidays Are Celebrated Around The World
Make your holiday visit to Epcot educational not to mention whimsical with the Holiday Storytellers. During the Festival of the Holidays, many of the 11 countries that make up the World Showcase will offer storytelling experiences giving visitors a taste of how the holidays are celebrated in each country. Some of our favorites including checking out the stunning Chinese Lion Dance, learning about Norway’s sneaky Christmas gnome and meeting La Befana, Italy’s Christmas witch! Watching these traditions come to life certainly adds an extra bit of magic to your holiday visit!
Candlelight Processional
In addition to the Christmas Stories around the world, you can also head to the American Pavilion for a very special holiday treat- The Candlelight Processional This retelling of the original Christmas story features an incredible 50 piece orchestra, amazing choirs and celebrity narrators to bring the story to life. Some of this year’s narrators include Neil Patrick Harris, Gary Sinise, Whoopi Goldberg, Pat Sajak and more! Performances take place 5:00, 6:45, and 8.15 pm and are included in the cost of your Epcot admission. However, you can get guaranteed seating with the Candlelight Processional Dining Package!
