Disney+ Shares Sneak Peek of Films Included in SparkShorts
Pixar has announced new details on the first six short films that will be featured in there SparkShorts series slated to be released on November 12th when the new Disney+ streaming service premieres. Each of the shorts will have an emphasis on experimental storytelling. The first three shorts (Purl, Smash & Grab and Kitbull) have already been released on YouTube. Each will be available on Disney+ at launch. Disney has also announced that Float will be released started on November 12th followed by Wind on December 13th and Loop on January 10, 2020.
Let’s take a quick look at the Trailer for the upcoming series:

Here’s a quick look at each of the shorts featured:
Float
A father discovers that his son is different from other babies in a rather unusual way. Initially, Dad tries to cover him and keep him out of sight. However, when his son’s ability is revealed Dad must decide to continue to try and keep it a secret or embrace his sone as he is.
Purl
A ball of yarn named Purl finds herself at a fast-paced, high energy, male-dominated start-up company. Things start to unravel as she tries to fit in with this close-knit group. Purl most figure out how far she is will to go to get accepted and is this acceptance worth it!
Kitbull
Two creatures an independent stray kitten and a pit bull form an unlikely connection. Together they experience what friendship means for the first time.
Smash and Grab
Two antiquated robots will risk everything to escape their life of toiling away inside the engine room of a giant locomotive.
Wind
Wind sees a grandmother and her grandson trapped in a chasm trying to scavenge together items in order to escape for a better life.
Loop
A non-verbal, autistic girl and a talkative boy are grouped together on a canoeing trip. To complete their journey across an urban lake, they must both develop an understanding of how the other experiences the world.
