Disney Movie Club Members Being Offered Disney+ Discount
Last week we told you about a D23 “Founders Circle” deal offering Disney fan club members a chance to subscribe in advance to Disney+ for just $3.92 a month. Going into the weekend, Disney extended a similar deal to Disney Movie Club members.
Last week, Disney Movie Club subscribers started receiving a streaming service offer giving members the option of $20 off a two-year plan. This would bring the total cost of a 2-year subscription down to $120 or $5 a month. Members can also opt for a 3-year plan for $170 or $4.72 a month. The deal is available for Disney Movie Club members through October 7th. The standard cost of the Disney+ without any sort of offer is $6.99 a month.
Any way you cut it, and even without a discount, Disney+ still comes in at half the price of Netflix which has a current subscription of $12.99 a month. When Disney+ goes live on November 12th, it will be home to a host of Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars and National Geographic programming. You’ll find wide array of films like the blockbuster live-action version of Aladdin along with original programming like Mandalorian from the Star Wars Universe. Due to Disney’s recent acquisition of Fox it will also be home to the Simpsons!
