Partysaurus Rex Takes Over Typhoon Lagoon During H2O Glow Nights
If you’ll be paying a visit to Walt Disney World this summer then consider setting a bit of money aside to attend one of Disney’s Incredible H2O glow night events! During this special after-hours soiree, Typhoon Lagoon (one of Disney’s two water parks) is magically transformed into a colorful dance party offering amazing eats, treats, entertainment and unlimited access to your favorite Typhoon Lagoon attractions. The mascot for this exciting event is none other than the loveable (albeit a bit nervous) Rex from Pixar’s Toy Story films.
So how exactly did Rex become synonymous with these fun-filled Disney evenings? Back in 2012 Pixar released a short called “Partysaurus Rex” starring none other than Rex the Dinosaur. You can purchase this short on YouTube here for $1.99.
Disney was so smitten with Rex’s life of the party demeanour that they decided to create a whole event around his “Partysaurus Rex” persona! Check out this awesome video showcasing all of the fun you can have during an H2O glow nights event.
So how can you be part of the fun? H2O Glow Nights takes place on Thursday and Saturday nights through August 24th. The party runs from 8pm – 11pm. Here’s a list of all available party nights:
- July 4, 6, 11, 13, 18, 20, 25 and 27, 2019
- August 1, 3, 8, 10, 15, 17, 22 and 24, 2019
Tickets are on sale now by calling (407) 939-1872, by ordering online, Also, buy your tickets early and save, as advance tickets are $59 for adults (plus tax) and $54 for children ages 3-9 (plus tax). On event days, tickets are $69 for adults (plus tax) and $64 for children (plus tax).
