Spring Break Crowds Have Arrived at Disney World
If you’ve been following along with MickeyBlog you’ll know that we’re at the Magic Kingdom today and we’ve definitely noticed an increase in crowd levels as we head into the weekend.
Above is a look at the crowds this afternoon as we headed into Adventureland.
It is much of the same on Main Street U.S.A.
With many schools across the country on Spring Break, this is an incredibly popular weekend for guests to plan their visits to “The Most Magical Place on Earth. ”
We also experienced a bit of gridlock as we wandered toward Splash Mountain in Frontierland.
With Disney further relaxing mask requirements including on transportation, we didn’t notice many masks at the parks today.
In the image above we look toward Haunted Mansion and Columbia Harbour House.
Lines are definitely larger than usual at the parks today.
A great example is the Barnstormer in Storybook Circus. This afternoon there was a 45 minute wait to ride this attraction.
This is definitely a longer line than what we’ve seen so far this year.
Below is a look at the crowds at Tomorrowland Speedway.
The line for this attraction stretched through Tomorrowland. Again, it is a bit longer than usual.
Lastly, you can see how the line for Space Mountain stretches well into the central area of Tomorrowland.
The main thoroughfare in Tomorrowland was also packed.
As was the line for the Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover.
If you’re planning on visiting the theme parks this week, our recommendation is to arrive early and consider making Genie+ to eliminate the waiting for a handful of attractions during the day.
MickeyBlog will be coming to you live from the theme parks throughout the week. Keep following along with us for further Walt Disney World news and updates.
