Disney Invites Guests Touched By Star Wars to Be First at Galaxy’s Edge
One of our favorite things about the all-new Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disneyland Resort is that it has made the dreams of thousands of Star Wars fans come true. Knowing what a special experience this is for fans that have been following this much-loved saga for most of their lives, Disney scoured the Galaxy in search of Star Wars enthusiasts whose lives have been touched by the films to give them a very special surprise.
Through their search they had the chance to meet Christina Cato, a self-taught droid builder and philanthropist, the Perales family who enjoy cosplaying as a family and Cora who’s “Happiest Star Wars Reaction” video went viral!
These guests were invited by Disney to be among the first to explore Black Spire Outpost at Disneyland Resort where they got to build their own droids, craft there own lightsabers, meet Chewie and most importantly get behind the wheel of Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run.
Check out the awesome time they had here:
Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge invites guests across this galaxy to come live out your Star Wars dreams. There’s so much to taste, see and experience at wonderfully imagined places like Oga’s Cantina and Dok-Ondar’s Den of Antiquities. Visitors can even sample the infamous Blue and Green Bantha Milk, and play a vital role in the conflict between The First Order and The Resistance!
