New Japanese Restaurant in Epcot Opening This Summer, Other Details Announced
We are excited to announce the new Japanese Restaurant in Epcot will open this Summer! Takumi-Tei, which means house of the artisan, will be located in the Japan Pavilion of the World Showcase.
The design of the new Japanese Restaurant in Epcot celebrates the relationship between Japanese craftsmanship and the natural world. Guests will dine on food inspired by the wonderful collaboration between nature and takumi, the artisan. The signature menu will spotlight wagyu beef in a sublime setting. Guests can also choose the ultimate experience featuring a multi-course tasting menu and a traditional tea service. To quench your thirst, signature cocktails and premium sake will be offered. There will also be a wine and beer menu featuring craft beers. While no official word from Disney yet, but since this is classified as a Signature Restaurant, it will be two dining credits for those using a Disney Dining Plan.

Mitsukoshi USA also runs and operates the merchandise, restaurants (Teppan Edo and Tokyo Dining), and kiosks in the Japan pavilion.
