U.S. Navy Blue Angels to Fly Over Epcot on May 2nd
Visitors to Epcot on Thursday are in for a special treat as Disney has just announced that the U.S. Navy Blue Angels will be flying over Epcot’s iconic Spaceship Earth attraction!
In honor of Military Appreciation Month, The U.S. Navy Blue Angels are scheduled to make two flight passes over Epcot on the morning of May 2nd. From there they will continue to Fort Lauderdale to take part in an air show.
For those planning on being at Epcot that morning, we recommend viewing this inspirational event in Future World in the area between Spaceship Earth and the entrance to the World Showcase
This is not the first time Walt Disney World guests have been treated to such an honor. Similar flyovers happened at Magic Kingdom Park in both 2015 and 2017. At speeds of over 250 mph, the Blue Angels even performed a “Delta Break” manoeuvre right above Cinderella Castle.
