Awesome Easter Egg Creations Add a Touch of Spring to Disney’s Deluxe Resorts
If you’re lucky enough to be spending Easter Weekend at Walt Disney World Resort then enjoy going on an Easter Egg Hunt of a different kind! Each year several of Walt Disney World’s Resorts display edible Easter Egg creations that are nothing short of stunning! As a matter of fact these delectable treats are so impressive that we here at MickeyBlog definitely recommend taking a break from the theme parks to check them out! Have your cameras at the ready because here’s where you’ll find them.
Disney’s Grand Floridan Resort & Spa – displayed through April 27
Enjoy a variety of Disney-themed and traditional Easter eggs displayed in the main lobby of the resort as well as a display in the dining room of the Grand Floridian Cafe. You can also visit the pop-up store near the front entrance of the lobby from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. daily to purchase Easter baskets and an array of snacks including:
- Bunny Marshmallow Pop
- White Chocolate Easter Bunny Pop
- Sugar Cookies
- Gluten-friendly Sugar Cookie
- Carrot Blondies
- Cross Buns
- Pastel Mickey Whoopie Pies
- ½ lb. Bag of Chocolate Easter Eggs
- Grand Egg filled with Jelly Beans
Disney’s Yacht & Beach Club Resorts (displayed through April 27) and Disney’s BoardWalk Resort (displayed through April 21)
Located in the lobbies of both Disney’s Beach Club Resort and Disney’s Yacht Club Resort you’ll find an amazing array of hand-sculpted and hand-painted Disney-inspired chocolate eggs. Through April 20th, guests can also purchase 7-inch Mickey and Minnie Chocolate Eggs (while supplies last. ) Across the lake at Disney’s BoardWalk Resort, you’ll also want to be on the lookout for an additional display of Disney-themed chocolate eggs through April 21.
Disney’s Contemporary Resort – displayed through April 27
Last but not least, on the first-floor lobby of the Contemporary, you’ll find 35 beautiful Easter eggs made with white and dark chocolate, including a magnificent centerpiece egg signed by a few familiar Disney friends!
