New Series “Gigantosaurus” Coming to Disney Channel in January
Earlier this week we here at MickeyBlog where excited to share with you the details of “Mira, Royal Detective” an animated series that will hit Disney Junior in 2020 with a focus on Indian culture. Today we’re delighted to share the details with you of another exciting project slated to hit the Disney Channel and DisneyNOW app in January. Preschoolers won’t want to miss “Gigantosaurus” a new series featuring four loveable dinosaur friends!
According to a recent piece in USA Today, the series will be based on the best selling book by Jonny Duddle which follows four young dinosaurs who are warned about a scary Gigantosaurus that has moved into their neighborhood. The friends decide to take turns looking out for this monstrous dinosaur. One of the friends keeping watch gets bored and decides to shout “GIGANTOSAURUS!” just to see what will happen. This sets off an interesting chain of events that is simply not-to-be-missed
The program is currently being developed and produced by France-based Cyber Group Studios. Pierre Sissiman, chairman and CEO of Cyber Group Studios had this to say about the collaboration, ” Children have always been fascinated by dinosaurs and they will immediately relate to these unique characters, who like them, are just beginning to assert their independence and learning about the importance of being themselves and being a good friend.”
Be on the lookout for Gigantosaurus which is slated to premiere on the Disney Channel and app on January 18 at 9 AM EST.
