Three New Stores Announced for Disney Springs
If it wasn’t already, Disney Springs is quickly becoming an international shopping destination. While the Walt Disney World Parks offer thrills and fun for children and adults alike, the shops at Disney Springs are sure to offer frills and deals for every professional shopper out there!
Believe it or not, Disney Springs is already home to over 100 retail locations. That number is about to grow even higher when three more shopping spots open in the near future – just in time for the holiday shopping season!
Two of the new shopping locations that are scheduled to open will be inside Disney Springs’ Marketplace Co-Op. The first of those stores is Lovepop. Lovepop features adorable, 3D sculptured greeting cards. Each card is handmade and meant as a keepsake to be cherished for many years to come. Guests will be able to find Lovepop in the center of the Marketplace Co-Op which just steps away from the iconic World of Disney Store. Lovepop is scheduled to debut any day now.
Also located in the Marketplace Co-Op will be Disney Tails. If you are a pet-lover like myself, then add Disney Tails to your must-visit list during your next visit to Disney Springs and Walt Disney World! The Disney Tails line currently features Mickey and Minnie collections. However, when the shop opens, two new character collections will debut featuring the Haunted Mansion and Star Wars. Items are available for both dogs and cats with most merchandise available for dogs at this time. Guests who stop by Disney Tails for the perfect souvenir for their four-legged friends will find everything from leashes and collars to Mickey-shaped waffle, pretzel, and ice cream bar chew toys. Disney Springs has not confirmed an opening date for Dog Tails at this time but it should be open for shopping in the near future.
Last but not least, a new pop-up art store will soon be coming to Disney Springs featuring the artistic stylings of Greg McCullough. The Art of Disney Presents Greg McCullough is set to open on November 3 and be open until January 1, 2019. Greg McCullough is well-known in the Disney world for his paintings of Disney characters and stories. What is most cool about this new store is that Greg himself will be on-hand daily (with the exception of Mondays from 1 to 7pm) to greet guests and sign artwork. If you are searching for the perfect piece of art to take home as a souvenir from your Walt Disney World vacation, original pieces, limited editions, and prints will be available for purchase. Pieces from McCollough’s Disney Remnants and Abstract Remnants Collections featuring mosaic collections created by recycling unused oil pant will also be available for purchase.
In addition to these three new shops, Basin is also undergoing a refurbishment that when done will make the popular Disney Springs store “lighter, brighter, (with)fresh touches that will open up the space in a more modern way.”
What new store are you looking forward to the most at Disney Springs?
