5 Best Disney World Steaks You Can Eat
Looking for a good steak meal to top off a wonderful Disney vacation? Here are just a few of the restaurants you can choose from that offer the tastiest steak meals:
Shula’s Steakhouse
First a little football information: the 1972 Miami Dolphins are the only NFL team to win the Super Bowl with a perfect season and Don Shula was the coach that got them all the way to their championship. Why is that important for a steak meal? Once Shula left the NFL, he opened a series of restaurants and, as expected, he brings his demand for perfection into the kitchen where he makes sure his customers enjoy the best. At the Shula Steakhouse in the Walt Disney World Dolphin Hotel, the managers are even called Head Coaches. They will bring you a premium Black Angus Beef steak and, if you have really built up an appetite walking around all the parks – I mean a really big appetite — then how about giving the 48-ounce steak a try! No, it’s not a misprint. If you finish the 48-ounce steak you’ll become one of 35,000 members who have joined the 48-Ounce Club.
LeCellier Steakhouse
Located in the Canada Pavilion in Epcot’s World Showcase, the LeCellier Steakhouse serves up one of the most tender steaks you’ll ever taste with a French flair. LeCellier’s Black Angus rib-eye is served with fingerling potatoes, and a mustard sauce and a tangy maple bordelaise butter that should be making your mouth water about now. You can also try the USDA Prime New York Strip with a side of escargots à la bourguignonne – steak and escargot? Wow.
Yachtsman Steakhouse
Steer yourself over to Epcot’s Yacht Club Resort for the steak of a lifetime. Enjoy your butcher hand=cut your grain-fed beef and enjoy it smothered in peppercorn-brandy sauce. Choose from several selections of steak including the 5-oz 100% Japanese Wagyu Beef Strip Loin that has a Miyazaki Prefecture Marble Score of A5 (the highest ranking). If you prefer to share a steak, the 32-oz porterhouse for two is a perfect option.
Narcoossee’s
Looking for a little surf and turf on your trip to the Disney World resort? Then make reservations for a meal at Narcoossee’s, located at Magic Kingdom’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. Enjoy their popular whole-steamed Maine lobster with your sirloin steak, or enjoy a mouth-watering grass-fed filet mignon or Black Angus New York Strip.
Capa
Sometimes a good steak meal is about the friends and the atmosphere just as much as it is about the cut of meat. Capa, is a rooftop, Spanish-influenced steakhouse that is all about atmosphere. Located on the 17th-floor rooftop of the Four Seasons Resort in Walt Disney World Resort, you’ll enjoy a steak cooked to your perfection on their wood-burning grill. Sit on the terrace and enjoy a memorable view of the wetlands, woodlands, and the greens or watch the nightly fireworks show while you dig in to your filet mignon with charred corn and creamy polenta, your bone-in rib eye, American wagyu, a New York strip or a flat iron. Grab a few extra napkins – you’re drooling.
