What’s New in the France Pavilion?
Bonjour from Epcot! In my most recent travels around the World (Showcase), I spent some extra time exploring the France Pavilion…and for good reason!
Amidst the whispers of Harmonious fireworks testing and new Taste of Food and Wine Festival kiosks opening on weekends, there has been a lot of talk about Epcot in the news.
Epcot Rumors
Rumors swirled around the France Pavilion, too, when Disney fans predicted Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure would open in summer 2020.
In my opinion, the attractions’ delayed opening has made the France Pavilion an oasis…an oasis brimming with new and exciting updates!
Les Chefs de France- Reopening Procedures In Place
Les Chefs de France is set to reopen on October 8, and Cast Members have been hard at work readying the Parisian-style restaurant to reopen its doors.
Tables have been properly distanced around the restaurant, ensuring everyone’s safety while dining.
Disney chefs have been hard at work creating a slightly altered menu to introduce on reopening day. Simply scan the QR code to see the menu.
The offerings include many of the restaurant’s famed dishes (like their filet and beef bourguignon) and also feature a pre-fixe option. Included with the price of the pre-fixe offering, guests may choose to order an alcoholic beverage to accompany their meal for the first time!
Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure
Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure is still hidden behind huge construction walls…but a ride on the Skyliner proved promising for the attraction’s impending opening.
Construction workers are hard at work finishing up the expansion that will house the attraction, and from the looks of things from the air, work is very near completion!
Just a few construction barriers remain!
Taste of Food and Wine Festival
The Taste of Food and Wine Festival is still in full-swing at Epcot! Two small changes to the Festival Booth prove just how popular the France offerings are among guests!
First, guests must now place their orders at the service window of the Festival Booth, instead of at the separate order points to help guests distance and flow through the line more easily.
Second, the queue for the France Festival Booth has also been significantly extended beyond its original boundaries.
The changes to the Festival Booth tell me one thing: the France Pavilion is just as popular as ever!
I’m very excited for these recent changes to the France Pavilion, but I want to know what you think!
