The Fault in Our Stars—Friday, September 25, on Disney+
Get ready for a tear-jerker. This is an epic love story based on John Green’s bestselling book. It follows Hazel Grace Lancaster (Shailene Woodley) who falls head over heals for Gus Waters (Ansel Elgort) after a meeting at a teen cancer support group. They are joined by their love of books including An Imperial Affliction by Peter Van Houten. When Gus gets an invite to meet the author in Amsterdam, the couple embark on the adventure of a lifetime.
Magic of Disney’s Animal Kingdom—Friday, September 25, on Disney+
We here at MickeyBlog HQ are so excited about this new DIsney+ series that was produced by National Geographic and narrated by Josh Gad. The series is like a backstage pass allowing you to explore the magic of nature within Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park, Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge and The Seas With Nemo & Friends at EPCOT. In the first episode you’ll visit the Harambe Wildlife Reserve where Kenya, a Masai giraffe receives a rather unusual pedicure which requires her undergoing training to receive a “nail” trim. Meanwhile on the savanna, an African elephant named Mac (who also has the distinction of being the parks biggest resident) must get a routine checkup which unveils a mouthful of mystery. And last but no least we head over to the Affection Section where Popcorn (the name given to a rescued chicken) has a bit of an Egg problem and must undergo surgery. Joining you on your journey are Disney Imagineers including our favorite Joe Rohde who hatch a whimsical plan to illuminate the pachyderms during the parks evening safari.
