Limited Edition TriceraTop MagicBand Spotted at DAK
The whimsy of Dinoland U.S.A. at Disney’s Animal Kingdom found itself perfectly captured in a new limited release MagicBand. MickeyBloggers spotted the unique, bright yellow wristlet today at Riverside Depot.
Dedicated to TriceraTop Spin, the new band perfectly encaspulates the delightful carnival-inspired attraction nestled within the area’s midway theme.
The band features the turquoise of the triceratops that swirl throughout the attraction. Large tops in complimentary colors also dot throughout the design.
The prehistoric delight almost jumps out of the opposite side of the band with her feet flying as she does throughout the festive gondola ride.
Only 1,000 of the bands were produced for this Limited Edition release, which celebrates one of the original attractions at Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
The band retails for $39.99 and can be found while supplies last at Riverside Depot, which is located inside Discovery Trading Company near the Tree of Life.
In other Animal Kingdom news, Christmas decorations also popped up today throughout Discovery Island as well as the entryway to the unique theme park.
Not only did the incredible tree tower in the walkway toward the entrance but wreaths and garland also hung from shop windows and buildings throughout the park. Christmas music could even be heard throughout Discovery Island today for guests.
MagicBand+ Coming in 2022
With 2022 just around the corner, the excitement continues to rise for MagicBand+ to make its debut at the parks. The new bands will feature “color-changing lights, haptic vibrations and gesture recognition,” according to Disney Parks Blog. Interactive experiences throughout the parks will include locations like Black Spire Outpost, interactions with the Disney Fab 50 Character Collection, and complementary lights during the evening spectaculars at both EPCOT and Magic Kingdom.
