The Country Bears Surprise Guests In Line For Big Thunder Mountain Railroad
Social Distancing markers were not the only things guests encountered in line for Big Thunder Mountain Railroad today during the Cast Member preview at Magic Kingdom. The Country Bears were excited to be out and about and surprised guests with an appearance at the ride.
MickeyBlog was there for the preview today gathering all kinds of information and pictures for us. Social distancing markers were in place at Big Thunder, just like many other areas of the park.
Guests could clearly see where they needed to stand in order to stay six-feet away from other guests.
Plexi-glass partitions were also constructed to keep guests safer and several signs warned people “Do Not Touch”.
And it is like Disney knows these signs and warnings are necessary, but they are scary to some. So, the answer to scary? The Country Bears. Wendell, Liver Lips and Henry were caught peeping over the wooden fence at Big Thunder looking down as guests entered the ride queue.
The Country Bear Jamboree has been at the Magic Kingdom since its origin and opened on October 1st, 1971. The Bears have filled their hall with country music and laughs for decades. The Jamboree is a classic staple at Disney and it is a happy sight to see them out and about for the re-opening.
