These July 4th Activities at Disney Resorts are Magical
Disney’s parks are not open yet here in the U.S., however, guests have been staying at Disney resorts the last several days. While there will be no fireworks this year, there are several other July 4th activities guests can partake in!
July 4th Activities at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort
Guests staying at the Polynesian can head over to the Lava Pool at 1:00pm to make some patriotic crafts. From 1:00pm – 7:00 pm, there will be other poolside activities at the Lava Pool where you can celebrate Independence day.
Guests can then make their way over to the Seven Seas Marina and design their own red, white and blue Mickey tie dies! How cool is that?! If that’s not enough fun, at 5:00pm you can return back to the Lava Pool for the 4th of July SPLASH Party!
Once the sun sets, you can walk over to The Great Ceremonial House Lawn and watch a “Movie Under the Stars.” Get your popcorn ready and enjoy Lilo & Stitch! Everyone loves Lilo & Stitch!
July 4th Activities at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa
The 4th of July festivities will also be happening over at Disney’s Grand Floridian. There are three separate Poolside Activities for guests staying at the resort to participate in.
At 2:30pm there is a Patriotic Pitch-N-Pop game. From 3:30pm – 4:30pm, there is a Grand Pool Party. From 4:30pm – 5:30pm, you can make red, white and blue crafts.
To close out the night, you can cozy up on the lawn in front of the Grand Floridian Villas to watch the classic Disney film Cinderella.
Since you’re not able to watch fireworks live this July 4th, head over to Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa and take in this beloved movie.
