Let’s Ride Disney’s Most Popular Attractions!
In a few weeks, we won’t need to do as many virtual tours of Disney theme parks. After all, the parks will return starting on July 11th.
However, we still have some time to kill, and we desperately miss all the fun. So, let’s take a few minutes to hit all the highlights.
Let’s visit Disney’s most popular attractions around the world!
Magic Kingdom
The only rule for today’s adventure is that we won’t ride anything twice. So, if we experience an attraction at one park, we won’t do it anywhere else.
So, we’ll start the day on the Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover, which isn’t available anywhere else.
Then, we will exit Tomorrowland and hit Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, the current signature attraction at Magic Kingdom.
Afterward, we’ll take a tour of Splash Mountain…
…and then try to clear a kidney stone on Big Thunder Mountain Railroad.
We could still do plenty here, but let’s save some of it for other parks.
EPCOT
Instead, we’ll jump on the monorail and head over to EPCOT.
And the moment we exit the monorail, we’re entering the park and going straight to Spaceship Earth.
Then, we’re building an automotive abomination at Test Track:
That vehicle does not seem road-safe, but that’s why we tested it, right? While we’re doing things that we probably shouldn’t, let’s head to outer space, too.
And we might as well do a kind of hang gliding, also.
Finally, let’s visit Arendelle before we switch parks.
Disney’s Hollywood Studios
Okay, we have a specific purpose here. We’re knocking out the five unique rides here before moving on to the final Walt Disney World theme park.
So, let’s start with the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror.
Then, we will ride Disney’s newest attraction! Yes, it’s time for Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway.
Only a handful of people on the planet have ridden this attraction. It was only open for a few weeks before the shutdown!
Afterward, we’re living the dream by visiting Batuu! All aboard the Millennium Falcon!
Okay, we did alright, but let’s keep practicing. I think we can get more next time.
We should ride Disney’s most impressive attraction during our trip to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, too.
Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance was too busy for us to visit in January. So, I’m still waiting for my chance to ride the real thing.
Finally, let’s learn some physics. We’re jumping on Slinky Dog Dash!
Disney’s Animal Kingdom
Now, we can walk with the animals and talk with the animals. And the best way to do it is at Kilimanjaro Safaris.
However, we shouldn’t forget the rides. We’re knocking out DINOSAUR right now!
And Expedition Everest is next!
And we might as well get wet on Kali River Rapids, too.
Afterward, we’ll go off-world again. This time, our destination is Pandora.
We will start with my favorite, Na’Vi River Journey:
And then we will skip to the front of the line on your favorite, Avatar Flight of Passage.
Disneyland Park
At Disneyland, we will cover some of the classics and rides that aren’t available elsewhere. In fact, let’s start with a 60-year-old attraction!
Then, we will do three other iconic attractions that started at Disneyland. I’m talking about It’s a Small World:
And then Haunted Mansion:
And Pirates of the Caribbean:
Also, I prefer the two-person version of Space Mountain:
Because I’m old school, I want to rubberneck on Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride.
Finally, we have to visit Indiana Jones Adventure while we’re here:
Disney California Adventure
Okay, let’s be clear. We have a mission here. We’re going on five rides. We want to meet the Guardians of the Galaxy:
Then, we’re going on the original Soarin’ Over California, which is totally different from the one we did earlier.
Now, we’re ready for the adrenaline rush of The Incredicoaster:
And while we’re in the area, we’ll do the Pixar Pal-Around, also.
Then, we will do the thing that we’re all here for. Yup, it’s finally time for Radiator Springs Racers!
Disneyland Paris
Okay, there are two parks here, but we’re emphasizing only a couple of rides.
We are here for Phantom Manor.
Yes, I did Haunted Mansion earlier, but Phantom Manor is different. It’s much more malevolent.
Also, we’re going on Ratatouille because it’s not ready at EPCOT yet.
That ride is pure magic. Okay, let’s get another stamp on our passports by heading to…
Hong Kong Disneyland
Again, we’re only here for a couple of rides. First, we’re stopping Hydra.
Then, we’re meeting Iron Man.
I didn’t understand all of that, but it was AWESOME!
Finally, we’re experiencing one of the silliest Disney rides on the planet. It’s time for Mystic Manor!
Tokyo Disneyland
We’re almost done with our world tour of the best of Disney. At Tokyo Disneyland’s two parks, we’re prioritizing four rides.
The first one is Monsters, Inc. Ride & Go Seek!
Then, there’s the most expensive ride at the parks, Pooh’s Hunny Hunt.
Next up is Tokyo DisneySea’s Journey to the Center of the Earth.
Did you notice the similarities to Test Track and Radiator Springs Racers? The three attractions employ the same architecture.
And just because they’re adorable, here are the Venetian Gondolas:
Can you believe those are available at a Disney park?
Shanghai Disneyland
Okay, we’re almost done. We’ve only got two rides left…and one of them is a cheat.
We’re jumping on Pirates of the Caribbean: Battle for the Sunken Treasure.
Despite the similarities, I consider it different than the original version. The technology here truly elevates it.
And I think you can guess what our last ride is. Yup, we’re entering the land of Tron, users!
Now, THAT was incredible! It seems like the perfect way to end our tour of Disney’s most popular attractions in the world.
