Disney Just Confirmed That ‘Loki’ Series Will Debut on Disney+ In Early 2021
We’ve got some good news for fans of the mischievous Loki. Disney+ confirmed today that the series featuring Thor’s rather vindictive brother will make its debut on the network on Early 2021. This was confirmed by CEO Bob Iger during a shareholders meeting. In addition, Disney shared some interesting insights regarding Phase 4 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
What we do know is that actress Sophia Di Martini will be playing either Lady Loki or Enchantress, this according to a recent piece in Comicbook.com. We also know that she’ll be taking on the Time Variance Authority. Its hinted at that this agency will play an integral role in the plot of the series. Fans of Endgame know that he ends up in custody at the TVA after escaping into an alternative 2012 timeline in the film.
We also announced earlier this year that Owen Wilson has signed on to play a TVA agent in the film!
So does Loki have a nemesis other than the TVA? Possibly. Comicbook.com hinted that we could meet Kang the Conqueror in the series who would definitely be a formidable opponent. Furthermore, fans and insiders are speculating the Kang could tie alot of Phase 4 together including other Disney projects including Wandavision and Doctor Strange: In the Multiverse of Madness.
