One particular spot in Walt Disney World still intimidates the heck out of me – Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
First off, it’s big. Second, it’s hot. Or, because of the tropical setting and the many, many trees and amazing fauna – it feels hotter than elsewhere. Finally, I have no clear understanding of the layout.
However, thank goodness for happy MickeyBlog.com’s Editor-in-chief Greg Antonelle — not singing aloud this time — but singing the praises of the fourth Disney theme park in Florida. And, looking ahead, I think I need to give DAK a little more time, next time in.
Praising Disney’s Animal Kingdom
“We don’t get to Animal Kingdom as much as we probably should,” he said. “Animal Kingdom is a fun park; a lot of great attractions here, a number of really, really good restaurants.”
However, before we hit the video, check out a gallery of recent offerings and updates to WDW’s fourth gate:

A towering mechanical suit is sure to stop Walt Disney World Resort guests in their tracks at Pandora Ð The World of Avatar at DisneyÕs Animal Kingdom. The Pandora Utility Suit is inspired by the iconic Amplified Mobility Platform (AMP) suits of power armor from the epic film, ÒAVATAR.Ó Perched ten feet high, a human pilot straps into the cockpit of this exo-carrier and controls its powerful, yet agile movements. Designed for restoration, this suit will traverse the land daily while its pilot interacts with guests, sharing details about the landÕs otherworldly landscape and highlighting the importance of preserving nature.
