Haunted Mansion Holiday Decor Is Up In Disneyland!
There’s a lot to celebrate over at the Disneyland Resort! Let’s head over to the parks, shall we?
Pixar Fest is still underway at the resort, with both parks offering unique Pixar-themed experiences. Deadpool and Wolverine have also arrived at Disney California Adventure, bringing chaos (and good storytelling) with them. And July 29th marks an exciting reopening in Disneyland Park–let’s see if it’s ready!
Haunted Mansion Holiday
Following a lengthy closure due to an expansion, Haunted Mansion will finally re-materialize (reopen to guests) in Disneyland on July 29th! And when it does, it will appear in its Haunted Mansion Holiday form!
The exterior’s decor has already gone up, building excitement for the ride’s reopening and the upcoming Halloween season! If you’re wondering, this is a bit early for holiday decor. However, opening the attraction with holiday decor will prevent the ride from needing to close again in the coming weeks for holiday additions.
We spotted some familiar holiday decorations, including the iconic countdown clock, Jack-o-Lanterns, and skull garlands!
Haunted Mansion Reopening
Haunted Mansion, which has been closed to guests since January of this year, will finally reopen this week. The attraction’s refurbishment includes an expansion to the outdoor queue, as well as a new retail shop owned by Madame Leota!
For the time being, spirits (or construction) will only allow you to enter the attraction via a virtual queue. Guests can request to join the queue at 7:00AM (only open to guests starting in Disneyland Park) and 12:00PM (open to all guests who can access Disneyland Park that day). Guests need to use the Disneyland App to join the virtual queue.
We’re excited to see the attraction reopen after such a long closure! We’ll keep bringing you the latest from around the resort, so stay tuned to MickeyBlog.com.
