Swirled Showcase Features EPCOT’s Most Refreshing Treats
It’s a beautiful day for a festival, and MickeyBlog is spending the day at EPCOT! Our team is on the ground sampling all the delicious dishes, bubbly beverages, and refreshing sweet treats of EPCOT’s 2024 Flower & Garden Festival.
With its stunning topiaries and lush landscaping, EPCOT is at its most beautiful during the annual Flower & Garden Festival. The incredible fresh flower extravaganza brings mouth-watering outdoor kitchens, spectacular entertainment, exclusive merchandise, and limited-time sensory experiences like the Blossoms of Fragrance garden.
This year, the festival kicked off yesterday, February 28th, and runs through May 7th, 2024.
Swirled Showcase
Located in World Showcase Plaza next to Refreshment Port, Swirled Showcase is a festival hotspot for ice cream aficionados! A relatively new addition to the festival circuit, Swirled Showcase debuted last fall during EPCOT’s 2023 International Food & Wine Festival.
The booth offers a variety of refreshing sweet treats, as well as some interesting beverage options. Here’s a look at the full menu:
Food items include Soft-serve in a Waffle Cone and the non-alcoholic Ice Cream Float: Vanilla Soft-serve Barq’s Red Creme Soda. Swirled Showcase also offers two brand-new food items: Strawberry Basil Sorbet in a Waffle Cone and Liquid Nitro Honey-Marscapone Cheesecake.
The menu also includes several refreshing beverages, including Strawberry Basil Sorbet with Hard Seltzer, Boulevard Brewing Co. Quirk Strawberry Banana Whip Hard Seltzer, and the brand-new Vanilla Soft-serve with Cantaloupe Liqueuer.
Review
Our team started with the Liquid Nitro Honey-Marscapone Cheesecake ($5.25). Served with fresh berries and honey, this one is sweet, rich, and incredibly delicious!
We loved the crystalized sugar topping and the base of thick, creamy cheesecake.
Our team also loved the Strawberry Basil Sorbet ($6.50). Served in a fresh and crunchy waffle cone, the sorbet tastes fresh, refreshing, and not overly sweet.
The basil flavor is extremely subtle and we love that the sorbet tastes like real, fresh strawberries without any artificial flavors.
Both of these items are seriously delicious, and our team said they’d return to enjoy them again! Stop by Swirled Showcase to see for yourself!
