Take a Tour Around a Standard Room at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort
Welcome, friends, to Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort!
A vibrant and enchanting pick among Walt Disney World’s Moderate-level resort hotels, Coronado Springs is a firm favorite among returning guests looking for the perfect blend of easy-going vacation vibes, mixed with romantic Hispanic culture.
Any guest who has been lucky enough to have stayed in this resort is sure to attest the beauty of the place, from the cozy, motel-style rooms in the “settlements” section of the hotel, to the grand splendor of the newer Gran Destino Tower building.
Today, we thought we’d take you on a tour of a Standard Room at Coronado Springs. So, come along with us to explore, to enjoy, and to kick back in true Spanish style!
Standard Room Tour
For this tour, MickeyBlog is taking you inside a standard room, located in the Casitas block of the resort.
The Casitas are one of three different “settlements” at Coronado, which consist of motel-style rooms set up along their first and second stories.
Inside this Standard Room, guests can find two pristine, queen-sized beds, making the room large enough to accommodate up to four adults.
Over by the window here we can see a comfy brown armchair, settled beneath curtains sporting a snazzy pattern reminiscent of a mountain range.
If you’ve booked a Standard Room in the settlements at Coronado Springs, you can expect a view of the parking lots or the resort courtyards. Water view rooms (of the pools or lakes,) require an upgrade.
In front of the beds, we can see this large, clear desk area with a comfy chair and handy lamp.
Within this counter, we can find six large drawers for storage, as well as a hidden mini refrigerator. On top, we’ve also got an ice bucket, and Keurig pod-style drinks machine with coffees and teas.
Above this desk area, in perfect view of the beds, is the wall-mounted television set. Upon entry to the room, this will be set to a welcoming “Resort TV” homepage, playing lazy Spanish music and full of all the information you’ll need about your new vacation “home!”
Décor
Befitting to the Hispanic theming of this resort, the décor here offers a tranquil yet chic aesthetic, with much less of a “Disney-fied” punch than some of the other neighboring resorts at Walt Disney World.
Between the beds, we can see sweet, silhouette portraits of Donald, Jose, and Panchito – the classic Three Caballeros themselves.
These three can also be spotted beneath this large cacti portrait on the opposite wall too, in a serene scene that looks hot and dreamy!
Bedding Area
Each of the two beds in this room is covered in simple white bedding, with a sunset-orange headboard and bright reading lamps shining overhead.
Between the beds, you’ll find a shared table with electric outlets (including USB) and a phone. There’s more cupboard storage here, plus plenty of space under the beds for stowing away luggage.
Vanity Area
At the rear of the room, behind two steel-gray sliding doors, we come to this well-lit vanity area.
Separate from the bathroom, this area features two large sinks set into a modern-styled vanity counter, with plenty of storage and space to stash guests’ own toiletries.
There are tissues, hand towels, and even a hairdryer here, along with one giant mirror for admiring your best park ‘fits!
A feature we love here is the pretty display of complimentary wash products, all part of the Disney H2O+ Beauty line.
This set includes a hand soap bar, body lotion, mouthwash, a shower cap, and a general vanity kit.
The room’s large wardrobe (complete with hangers) is also stationed within this vanity area and is where guests can find extra bedding, an iron with board, and a luggage stand.
Bathroom
Moving on finally to the bathroom area!
As one would expect, here we can find the toilet, complete with plenty of spare paper rolls, and the shower.
In addition to the set found by the sinks, the shower is also well-stocked with H2O+ shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. Lovely!
This dual-headed shower has a glass partition, and extra shelving space to store personal toiletry and bath products.
And that, mi amigos, concludes our tour of this beautiful Standard Room in Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort Casitas!
