Snow White Wrap Party Held (1938)
On this day in 1938, a Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs wrap party was held.

Known as Walt’s Field Day, the event was held at the Norconian Hotel in Corco, California over the next two days.
The Columbia Christened (1958)
On this day in 1958, Disneyland’s Columbia ship was officially christened on the Rivers of America.

On hand for the festivities were Admiral Joe Fowler dressed as a 1700s sea captain, and the Mousketeers dressed as his crew.
The Walt Disney World Dolphin Hotel Opens (1990)
On this day in 1990, the Walt Disney World Dolphin Hotel opened.

Designed by architect Michael Graves, the resort, which was operated by Starwood, held 1,500 guest rooms.
The Bengal Barbecue Opens (1990)
On this day in 1990, the Bengal Barbecue opened in Adventureland.

The new Disneyland restaurant serves grilled meat and vegetable skewers.
The Company D. Cast Member Store Opens (1991)
On this day in 1991, the Company D Cast Member store opened in the Team Disney Building.

On this day in 1999, The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh debuted at the Magic Kingdom.

The dark ride was based on the film The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh and replaced Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride in Fantasyland.
All-Star Music Debuts Family Suites (2006)
On this day in 2006, Disney’s All-Star Music Resort opened its new family suites.

Betty Taylor Passes Away (2011)
Finally, on this day in 2011, Betty Taylor, who played Slue-Foot Sue in Disneyland’s Golden Horseshoe Revue passed away at age 91.
