Check Out the NEW “Frozen”-Inspired Kid’s Area at Disney’s Blizzard Beach!
Welcome back to Disney’s Blizzard Beach, everyone!
That’s right, today is the highly-anticipated grand reopening of Disney’s “coolest” water park, and MickeyBloggers are there and reporting live!
Not only is today a celebration of the Blizzard Beach’s reopening however, but we’re also here to enjoy the grand debut of various new experiences around the park!
One area we have been especially excited for it the re-imagining of Tike’s Peak – the park’s adorable kiddie-area – which has just received a particularly “frozen” overhaul…
Tucked away, apart from the high-speed chills and thrills of the park, Tike’s Peak is an adorable area that’s specifically designed for younger guests.
Here, the water is shallow, the splashes are smaller, but the fun is still as exciting and magical as ever. Especially now, as the area has been re-imagined to include our favorite characters from Disney’s Frozen, in a way that younger beach-goers are sure to absolutely adore!
As we approach Tike’s Peak, we can see that the welcoming sign has been climbed by some happy-looking Snowgies!
If you’re unfamiliar, these hilarious little blobs of snow made their debut in Frozen Fever, after having been created by Elsa sneezing!
We’ve got a feeling we’ll be seeing a lot of these frosty friends around this area of the park!
Let’s step under the sign, and explore more together…
As we enter Tike’s Peak, we are welcomed with those snowy peaks and lots of watery fun for small guests.
The new Frozen elements have been added to the area’s pre-existing attractions, offering a fun refresh that we really love!
Included in this area are shallow wading pools, miniature slides, tube rides, and chutes, all designed to be enjoyed by kiddos under 48 inches tall.
Among the attractions, new sculptures depicting Frozen characters have been installed, such as this adorable statue of young Anna and Elsa playing behind a snowy castle structure…
The young princesses sure look like they’re having fun, especially firing water jets at unsuspecting guests!
Another stunning new feature is this gorgeous Olaf statue, which sits proudly in the middle of one of the pools.
Olaf is looking as cute as ever, posing atop a snowy wave that’s melting into the swimming pool!
Then, around the pool, we can see more of those funny little Snowgies perched atop melting ice caps.
Aren’t they just so cute?
With these adorable statues, as well as new snowflake graphics added to the bottom of the pools, the area really does offer a magical, Frozen vibe that fans of the movie are sure to be enchanted by.
Tike’s Peak is a perfect family area to enjoy, so we definitely recommend you check it out on your next visit to Blizzard Beach!
