Three Hour Wait to Get Into Creations Shop For EPCOT 40th Anniversary Merch
If you’ve been following along with MickeyBlog you’ll know that today is a momentous occasion. It’s EPCOT’s 40th birthday! MickeyBlog was at the park bright and early this morning to bring you a first look at the limited-edition 40th Anniversary merchandise that is being released today and let’s just say that the crowds are massive!
A queue to get into the Creations Shop started to form as soon as the theme park opened.
It wasn’t long before it began to snake through the entire park.
Cast members were on hand to organize the queue.
We were told, giving their best estimate that the line to get into Creations Shop this morning is at least three hours long!
To give you a sense of perspective, that’s the Imagination Pavilion above.
As well as The Seas with Nemo and Friends!
Thankfully, MickeyBlog arrived early enough to get through the line quite quickly.
However, if you’re planning on visiting EPCOT on this special day, be prepared to wait for merch.
Here are a few videos we took of the line:
This may just be the longest lines we’ve seen at EPCOT since the Figment popcorn bucket!
It was definitely crowded inside the shop with guests clamoring to get the exclusive on-the-day merch before it sells out!
Readers are encouraged to keep following along with MickeyBlog for further Walt Disney World news and updates.
We’ll be coming to you LIVE! from EPCOT throughout the day.
