Cobblestones Removed at HUB in the Magic Kingdom
If you’re visiting the Magic Kingdom in the days and weeks ahead, things might be looking a little different.
Disney is currently doing some work the cobblestones in front of Cinderella Castle.
Most of the bricks have been removed from the area with only a few remaining.
With the brickwork removed, this high-traffic area of the park now features standard concrete.
Disney will be revamping the area and upgrading the bricks in the days and weeks ahead.
As we are seeing from a similar project happening on Center Street just off Main Street, these projects can be pretty lengthy.
In the meantime, be careful when walking through this area as the pavement can be a bit uneven.
One things guests do seem to enjoy though is the yellow square in front of Cinderella Castle which provides the perfect photo op.
It was fun to watch guests nab those perfect castle photos while standing in the middle of the yellow square.
Its not uncommon for Disney to replace the cobbles at the theme parks. We’ve seen it happen at various locations throughout the years.
This is a project that we will be following and we promise to keep you posted on progress!
Readers are encouraged to keep following along with MickeyBlog for further Walt Disney World news and updates.
