Dear WDW, Please bring back the Princess dining options!
While WDW Disney Character Dining experiences have been making a slow comeback, most of the Princesses are still missing in action!
As a mother of two little girls I can only hope and pray that Walt Disney World brings back more the Princess Dining options soon!
Cinderella’s Royal Table
While this one-of-a-kind fairy tale dining experience has returned, it is not FULLY back. Pre-Covid there were numerous Princesses that would walk around from table to table to greet guests, take photos, and sign autographs.

Right now, guests can experience a modified experience with meet and greet with Cinderella in the lobby. This dining experience is a dream for any Disney World fan because it is the only opportunity to eat in Cinderella’s Castle!
In case I haven’t persuaded you enough, click here for more reasons why we think you should try this experience.
Akershus
One of our family’s favorite Princess experiences has been in EPCOT at Akershus, which has been missing since Covid. Like Cinderella’s Royal Table, there were various Princesses that walked throughout the dining room, greeting tables one at a time.
Belle would greet all guests upon arrival at the medieval castle setting. This meal features a unique salad bar and Norwegian inspired entrees. During the meal there was also a fun Princess Parade for the children! We really miss this one…
Trattoria al Forno Breakfast
With a Rapunzel loving daughter, Trattoria al Forno is another great dining option we are really missing. This Italian restaurant over at the Boardwalk offered a great breakfast with Rapunzel, Flynn Ryder, Ariel, and Prince Eric.
We experienced a little Disney “Magic” when Ariel recognized us from a previous meal at Akershus. It was a great experience for all of us!
Some rumors circling are suggesting that Walt Disney World is trying to get back to pre-Covid by October, with the return of the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique at the end of August. We can only hope all the Princess Dining Experiences are next!
