Construction Update: Work Being Done To Barriers Around Tron Coaster
MickeyBlog is back at the Magic Kingdom today where we dropped by Tomorrowland to see how construction is coming along on the TRON coaster.
As we previously reported here at MickeyBlog, most of the work is finished to the exterior of the building including the stunning outdoor canopies.
At night, the canopies will be lit up to give guests the feeling that they are soaring through cyberspace just like in the movie TRON.
We also know that the ride vehicles are also in place and testing of the coaster has started.
As you can see the TRON coaster sits right next to the Tomorrowland Speedway.
Above is a look at the tunnel for the Walt Disney World Railroad.
The TRON coaster intersects with the railroad tracks which has meant that the Walt Disney World Railroad was required to shut down during construction.
We can’t wait for the Walt Disney World Railroad to reopen.
Concrete barriers are also going up around the attraction.
The barriers will run between the TRON coaster and the Tomorrowland Speedway track.
The teams are also focusing on the walkways to the attraction.
As you can see above they’re working on the ramps and queuing areas for the attraction as well.
It has been so much fun watching this attraction take shape over the last year!
We can’t wait to see the finished product!
Keep following along with us here at MickeyBlog and we promise to let you know regarding an TRON updates!
We’ll also be coming to you LIVE! from the theme parks each and every week.
