The Dooney & Bourke Main Street Electrical Parade Anniversary Collection Will Light Up Magic Kingdom Very Soon!
Here at MickeyBlog, we’re all very excited for this Monday, June 27th. Because, the luminous new “Electrical Light Parade Collection” by Dooney & Bourke is set to arrive at the Magic Kingdom, and is sure to light up the park and beyond!
This year marks the 50th anniversary of the Main Street Electrical Parade – a dazzling, nighttime spectacular which has been lighting up the Disney Parks for five decades.
In celebration of the event, lots of treats, merchandise, apparel, and more have been released over the past few months. Now, fan-favorite Disney designers Dooney & Bourke have joined the parade, releasing a luminous new collection of anniversary merchandise themselves.
Set to parade into the parks on Monday, June 27th is “The Electrical Light Parade Collection.” Over at the Magic Kingdom, Uptown Jewelers are currently offering guests a first look at the designs, and we’re excited to show them to you now!
The first item in the collection is one that MickeyBloggers actually shared a sneak peek at earlier this week, after spotting it on display over at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. It’s a gorgeous, zip-up pouch clutch.
At Uptown Jewelers, however, the full collection is available to view, prior to its official release on Monday. With a smart handbag, wallet, tote, and MagicBand all completing the set – you’ll simply want it all!
Each item in this spectacular collection captures the magic of the Main Street Electrical Parade perfectly. A midnight blue in color, many of the iconic floats are also depicted on the purses. We can see Elliot the dragon, Alice on her toadstool, the train, an array of dazzling critters… all lead by a smiling, fantastical, Mickey Mouse.
The bags are completed with a smart trim in a tan color, which compliments the deep, nighttime shade of the main design perfectly. All the purses are finished with a shiny, metallic, Dooney & Bourke label, and the bags feature a beautiful luggage tag, bearing the Main Street Electrical Parade logo.
The tote bag in the collection features a similar design to what we have previously seen replicated on t-shirts as part of the anniversary celebration. With a marching Mickey waving his magic wand baton at the front and center of the bag, you know the parade is set to be fantastical!
To match the purses, the MagicBand in the collection is a deep color, featuring the dotted lights of the parade all across the band. This MagicBand comes boxed in a luminous yellow case, and is limited to just 4,500 items.
We’re expecting this whole collection to be a popular release. So, if you’re wanting to purchase any of these items yourself, make sure to be ready on Monday, before they all sell out!
