Food & Wine Fest is Back at Disney California Adventure!
It’s official! The Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival is back at Disneyland Resort with culinary delights, special events, awesome merchandise and lots of foodie fun! The festival runs through April 26, 2022.
Festival Marketplaces
A highlight of each years Food & Wine Fest is the change to go on a culinary tour of a dozen outdoor kitchens where you can sip and savor your way through inventive small plates and delightful beverages. The inspirations for this Festival is California-grown ingredients so expect menus brimming with avocados, citrus, strawberries, peppers, artisanal cheese and more!
Sip and Savor Pass
Chart a course for an epicurean adventure with the Food & Wine Festival Sip and Savor Pass. Purchasing a pass gives you eight opportunities to try a variety of items at participating locations throughout Disney California Adventure.
Tasting Passport
Pick up one of these guides to the Food & Wine Festival as you enter Disney California Adventure. It’s your handy pocket guide to all of the happenings during festival time and even includes menus for all of the outdoor kitchens. You can check off treats as you go to keep track of what you’ve sampled and what’s till on the list!
A Learning Experience
The festival is a great opportunity to brush up on your cooking skills. You’ll find complimentary culinary demonstrations from Disney Chefs as well as visiting chefs who showcase their talents by preparing some of their favorite recipes while you watch!

Special Tasting Events
During the Food & Wine Festival there are special bookable signature events designed to expand your knowledge on wine, beer and spirits with seminars at Sonoma Terrace or at Carthay Circle Winemaker Receptions. Guests should note that there is a separate fee for these events and advanced booking are recommended.

Special Soirees
When you’re ready to take some time out from eating, be on the lookout for live entertainment including Chip ‘n’ Dale and the Jammin’ Chefs drumming up new beats. You’ll even be to join Chef Goofy for some fun craft activities and visit the new Alice’s Wonderland Bakery Unbirthday Party. Children between the ages of 3 through 11 can help decorate cupcakes!
Soar Over California Once Again
Feeling nostalgic for the old version of Soarin!? Boy are you in luck, for a limited time Soarin’ over California is returning with its epic aerial adventure. You’ll soar over the Golden State’s natural and man-made wonders including the Golden Gate Bridge, Malibu Beach and more.
If you’ve never experienced this immersive 80-foot projection show that simulates the graceful motion of flight and teases the senses with notable scents found in California.

You’ll definitely want to budget for all the special Food & Wine Festival merchandise including apparel, kitchenware, artwork, collectibles and the awesome ears you see above!
Downtown Disney Gets In on the Fun!
The fun isn’t just limited to Downtown Disney District. Nine participating restaurants are offering special Friends of the Festival menus, tasting events, crafts, live music and more. There will be entertainment nightly on the Downtown Disney LIVE! Stage along with weekend artist signings at WonderGround Gallery. Tortilla Jo’s is also having a “Sips and Salsa” events and Naples Ristorante e Bar will be having Pizza and Pinot.
Also be on the lookout for beautiful chalk art in Downtown Disney, Disneyland Hotel and the Paradise Gardens Gazebo in Disney California Adventure park.

The Festival Fun Continues at the Hotels of Disneyland Resort
At the Hotels of the Disneyland Resort, more Friends of the Festival tastings and education experiences are available to the public. This includes food and beverage pairings featuring Golden Road Brewing, Peltzer Family Cellars and sake from Nova Brewing Co. at GCH Craftsman Bar at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa. The Disneyland Hotel is presenting a mixology seminar at Trader Sam’s Enchanted Tiki Bar, as well as a lovely outdoor winemaker reception with culinary action stations, featuring Silver Oak/Twomey wines. These special hotel events each include a commemorative gift. A separate fee is required, and advance bookings are recommended.
