Very Merriest Cast Members Ready For Tonight’s Event
Just over a week ago, Magic Kingdom cast members packed up their “Boo to You” costumes after the finale of Boo Bash. Tonight, the same cast members are ready for the much-anticipated return of holiday after hours at the park with the first Very Merriest After Hours special event.
The darling costumes are fit for the Christmas season feature traditional reds and greens with hints of candy cane stripes and evergreens.
Some cast members embraced the dressier side of the holidays with a skirt ensemble, which includes an apron that Mrs. Claus would certainly approve of thanks to its festive frills. Others opted for pants in a bold candy apple red with a Christmas Tree button-down shirt.
Some really embraced the evening’s theme with Santa hants and vibrant green, holly-themed bow ties as well.
The “Once Upon a Christmastime Parade” also debuts tonight in its first run since 2019’s Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. After Hours events were placed on hold in March of 2020 due to the pandemic. Tonight’s festitivies also feature “Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks,” giving party guests the opportunity to see two magical pyrotechnic displays. “Disney Enchanment” also still runs in the evening prior to park closing for all guests.
A new stageshow debuts tonight featuring Mickey, Minnie and the gang singing seasonal favorites. The Country Bears, Pooh and friends, and Jiminy Cricket are among the special guests featured for distanced “sighting” throughout the park during the event. The Reindeer Wranglers will also delight with holiday songs in Frontierland.
Treats this year include Snickerdoodle Cookies and Hot Coca and Pinocchio Village House as well as other locations throughout the Magic Kingdom. Of course, MickeyBlog will be live at tonight’s festivities covering all of the sweet treats and new entertainment delighting guests of the sold-out event.
