Disneyland Considering Dedicated Entrance for Annual Passholders
Disneyland is considering a separate, dedicated entrance for Annual Passholders at Disneyland park and Disney California Adventure park. This separate entrance could potentially reduce lines and bottlenecking at the gate during busy park times.
A dedicated entrance would certainly be a huge perk if it did provide faster access into the parks.
It’s also a possibility that the AP entrance could also be available to only the highest-priced annual passholders.
In other news, According to the Orange County Register, it looks like Disneyland might be considering dropping the monthly payment plan option. Experts say the monthly payments “was the tipping point for Disneyland’s crowding issues.” They also claim that once passes were more affordable thanks to the monthly payment options, that’s when the surge in Passholders started since they were more affordable.
Some considerations for passes may be based on the times of day the guests would visit, for instance, daytime or evening-exclusive access. Also, would the new passes include blackout dates, discounts, parking? There’s still much to consider.
