Awesome Disney Thanksgiving Recipes You Can Use
At Christmas, Mickey Mouse ornaments and Disney character stockings are the norm in households across America. As a child, I definitely received my share of Disney Princess chocolates at Easter, and Mickey and Minnie’s undying love is a perfect reference for Valentine’s Day gift ideas.
Thanksgiving, though, is one holiday I’ve never been able to Disney-fi…until now! I looked to my favorite Disney films and characters for my menu inspiration this year! I’m certain these Disney Thanksgiving recipes will succeed in putting a smile on your guests’ faces! One tip before you start cooking: wear stretchy pants!
Winnie The Pooh
The turkey is the focal point of every Thanksgiving table (although it is my humble opinion that the scrumptious and abundant array of sides always steal the show!).
If you’re expecting a lot of guests or if you’re looking to put a spin on your usual menu, my Winnie The Pooh-inspired dish is just the ticket!
Because the silly old bear loves honey so darn much, whip up a honey baked ham for your table! The glaze couldn’t be easier (recipe below), and I love this recipe because it does the cooking on its own, so you can focus on the rest of the meal prep!
Just bake the ham until the meat thermometer reads 135 degrees, and you’re good to go!
RECIPE for the glaze:
Frozen
Sven is hands-down my favorite character in the film. On the surface, the big reindeer is a goofball, but as the film’s plot thickens, he acts nobly time and time again. As we learn in the Wandering Oaken scene (I still laugh every time!), Sven and Kristoff love a good carrot.
I’ve been inspired by their carrot-munching, and one of my featured sides at Thanksgiving will be this super easy and super tasty carrot recipe!

Snow White
She should know better than to eat an apple from a stranger, but that fateful scene inspired this next Thanksgiving dinner must-have.
Apple pie really is a staple for any fall dinner party, and although pumpkin will always try to steal the spotlight, I’m an apple girl through and though!
This Thanksgiving, I’m doing a twist on the classic apple pie! Instead of the traditional pan version, I’m making individual mini pies perfect for eating standing up in the kitchen, or grabbing on your way out the door.
Plus, unlike the pan version, you can sneak a pie while you’re making them and no one will know!
RECIPE:
Cinderella
I just proclaimed myself as an apple pie-lover, but I would be remiss if I excluded a pumpkin recipe of some kind here. Inspired by Cinderella and her pumpkin-turned-stagecoach, this dairy-free recipe is perfect if you’re cooking for anyone with an intolerance. I’ve personally made these soft, dense, and pumpkin-packed cookies on multiple occasions, and they’ve always been a huge hit!
If you’re looking to stick as close to your diet as you can, the simple ingredients also make them a great alternative to calorie-packed pumpkin pie! They’re fun to make and are an easy way to get your kids involved in the Thanksgiving cooking because, in all honesty, you can use all the help you can get! Here’s the recipe:
