Lighting Tests Happening at Marvel Avengers Campus
Marvel fans rejoice, as Disney has continued work on the currently in-development Avengers Campus. The closing of Disneyland due to the ongoing pandemic hasn’t entirely halted the progress Disney is making on its future attractions.
Fans will certainly have much to look forward to on the fateful day when Disneyland finally opens its doors once again.
The Avengers campus is part of an all-new Marvel-themed Disney experience for California residents. Pairing with the campus will be an entire Marvel-themed Disneyland resort. The work being done will allow park goes and resort attendees to step inside the world of the Marvel Universe, and immerse themselves with the characters and hero’s we so adore.
The newest news and developments coming from construction on property shows Disney testing the newly installed exterior lighting for the campus.
A video coming from the Instagram page discover.themagic is a video of the testing taking place that shows us a hint at what is to come.
Displaying the average lighting of the campus, with one very well known spidey symbol illuminating a newly constructed red building; giving us a major hint at an attraction that brings to life our favorite web slinging hero.

There is a lot of speculation around the Spiderman themed attraction, WEB-SLINGERS: A Spiderman Adventure. Announced at D23 way back in 2019, the ride features MCU actor Tom Holland and will open along with the campus at some point in 2021.
The eagle-eyed fan who took the video was able to see the testing while in Disney’s California Adventure; currently opened in a limited form, to a limited capacity. Fans taking part in the dining and shopping available at the park can catch a sneak peek at the construction.
Currently, there is a lot of uncertainty as to when Marvel Avengers Campus will be open to the public, due to the health concerns surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic. Disneyland has remained closed to guests since first closing its gates in May 2020.
One thing is for certain, Avengers Campus is still in the works, and it’s going to epic for Marvel fans and non-Marvel fans alike.
