RECAP: The Mandalorian, Chapter 15 – The Believer
It’s already been a long week. And, of course, we still need to get through two more days (toward the Friday premiere of the season-ender on Disney+), but thankfully Season 2’s think piece was a watch-think-watch episode; that means you could watch it over and over and come away with new details each time.
With allusions and callbacks to some of the best of Star Wars, The Mandalorian, Chapter 15, also asked questions you might not expect from a series with the kill count like Lucasfilm’s Disney+ serial.
Now, I really don’t think you need to worry too much about spoilers from this one. While important to the overall story of The Mandalorian, there was no reveal like, um, Boba Fett or Ahsoka, in the seventh episode of the season.
But there was some great dialogue; there was a lot of great conversation.
And it all worked.
However, if you are strict about spoilers or have not yet watched “Chapter 15: The Believer,” hit up another post.

Thinking About Chapter 15: The Believer
Of “Chapter 15 – The Believer,” StarWars.com posted:
In the penultimate installment of The Mandalorian Season 2, Din Djarin enlists the help of an old enemy as he plans to move against the Empire. Check out new imagery inspired by “Chapter 15: The Believer,” including a character poster of Fennec Shand, stills, and behind-the-scenes concept art!
Here’s another smattering of Star Wars stuff:

Finally, Dan Brooks — again — chose his favorite five things from the latest episode. As usual, his selections for his top moments of The Believer were top notch.
As usual, here is just one of the five:
1. “For a second, I thought you were this other guy.”
Mayfeld (a personal favorite character of mine from Season 1, played once again with a clever mix of bravado and self-deprecation by the great Bill Burr) is back! His reaction upon seeing Boba Fett – mistaking him for Mando, who’s the reason he’s in prison – is hilarious. But the look on Mayfeld’s face when he realizes that Mando is, in fact, with Boba? Priceless.
Ha! The only thing I didn’t like was the crew leaving Mayfeld behind.
However, I have a sneaking suspicion he’ll be back…
