MickeyBlog Was At The Annual Passholder Pop-Up Shop At EPCOT Today
A new pop-up shop for Walt Disney World annual passholders popped up at EPCOT’s Germany pavilion starting today (October 14, 2020.) The shop is a treasure trove of Disney goodies and features exclusive annual passholder merchandise as well as NEW World Showcase goodies.
The Pop-Up is taking place inside Der Teddybear Toy Shop which typically sells a nice array of EPCOT and Germany specific merchandise.
When we arrived at EPCOT, there was a pretty hefty amount of Disney enthusiasts on hand to see what was in the shop.
There was a socially distanced queue in front of the shop for people to check-in.
Because of the popularity of the Pop-Up shop, there was a virtual waitlist so that guests could roam the park and wait for a notification when it is time for you to enter the shop.
Instructions on how to sign up for the virtual queue are clearly posted on signage at the Germany Pavilion.
Special annual passholder signage has been put up in the shop.
There were several merchandise displays throughout the shop including this Minnie Mouse Polka Dot area which had a wide array of goodies!
We think you’ll agree that the items in this collection are nothing short of Tres Chic!
This Minnie Mouse Paris t-shirt is very “En Vogue” and as you can see from the price tag below it retails for $26.99
We were pretty smitten with this Minnie Parisienne handbag in bright vibrant splashes of red, white and black!
It may be Fall but it is still pretty gosh darn hot in Florida making this Minnie Mouse romper the perfect find for all you Disney fashionistas!
It retails for $24.99 and features the most adorable Minnie Mouse kissy-face!
Many of the items in the pop-up were reduced as much as 50% including the Mickey and Minnie plush dolls you see below.
There was a whole section of paris inspired trinkets also half off.
Representing Norway were a few windbreakers and caps for 50% off.
Italy was also representing with these fantastic pizza-slice handbags.
There was also a TON of Germany items (of course.)
Items included t-shirts, ballcaps, glasses, coasters and even a bavarian pretzel handbag the is simply delightful.
And below you’ll see just a few of the varieties of general EPCOT and World Showcase apparel the was also 50% off.
Here’s closer look at the couple of the Germany t-shirts that we had our eye on!
The long sleeve Germany shirt above retails for $39.99 and would be perfect for the cooler months. Plush how cute is Bavarian Mickey!?
We also loved the Germany fleece below which featured Goofy, Pluto and Donald on the back.
There was also some nice German-inspired athletic gear including polo shirts.
Below is the collection of various jersey’s and backpacks
There was even a nice selection of Germany’s signature steins!
And of course, Volkswagen items!
There were also Annual Passholder specific items like the tee shirts below.
Annual Passholder 2020 Halloween t-shirts were also available for purchase at this location.
As well as D-Tech Food & Wine Festival cases.
There were even MagicBands for sale including the Minnie Mouse AP Food & Wine Festival band.
There was also a Mickey variation below in vibrant red.
As well as this standard orange version with the Annual Passholder icon.
Disney was also offering a pop-up bonus during our visit.
We followed the queue for the check-out line where you could pick up a special passholder gift.
As you can see from the image below. Guests with a valid annual pass get a free Coaster Set and cutting board when you make a purchase of $50.00 or more at the pop up shop.
Below you can see a closer look at both the Minnie & Mickey inspired coasters and cutting board which also say “passholder.”
Disney warned that the cutting board and coaster items are limited and would only be available for a short period of time.
During our visit there was a pretty decent size selection of these items but we imagine the freebies will go quickly! The Annual Passholder pop-up shop’s operating hours are from October 14th through November 17th on weekdays: Monday-Friday from 11:30am-park close.
