Best Spooky Experience in Every WDW Park
Spooky season is upon us, and there is no better place to celebrate the season than Walt Disney World Resort! Though Mickey’s-Not-So-Scary Halloween Party has taken a hiatus for 2020, there are still plenty of nail-biting, hair-raising, and all-around festive experiences to be had in the Parks!
No matter which Park you’re visiting at WDW, festive Halloween activities perfect for the whole family can be found in each! Let’s get started!
EPCOT
Living With the Land
A boat ride on Living With the Land is the perfect spot for a relaxing, educational, air-conditioned detour.
Just steps away from all the Soarin’ hustle and bustle, Living with the Land features a fun fall experience that can’t be found anywhere else on WDW Property…or anywhere else in Florida for that matter!
Pumpkins aren’t native to Florida, but right now, hydroponic pumpkins are growing fast in the greenhouses in Epcot! Keep your eyes peeled for different varieties of pumpkin, like the fluted variety.
You may also spot a very rare Disney-exclusive breed of pumpkin along the waterways too…keep your eyes peeled and your glass slippers firmly secured to your feet!
Animal Kingdom
Expedition Everest
Disney fans on the hunt for a more hair-raising Halloween experience will find plenty to scream home about at Animal Kingdom!
Face your fears and come face-to-face with the Yeti! The massive beast stalks the Himalayan mountain range, waiting to terrorize any foolish mountaineers who cross into his territory!
If facing the Yeti doesn’t quite get your blood pumping, a trip to prehistory will do the trick! The Carnotaurus animatronic on Dinosaur notorious for being the scariest at Disney for good reason!
Hollywood Studios
The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror
Amid the glitz and glitter of a bustling young movie town, one of the most terrifying attractions on Disney Property opens its doors..and this time, they are opening for YOU.
Step aboard a doomed maintenance elevator and into a real-life Twilight Zone! From the initial walk through the creepily abandoned, spider web-filled lobby to a 13 story free-fall, The Tower of Terror is certainly the spookiest experience in Hollywood Studios!
Magic Kingdom
The Haunted Mansion
There are currently 999 happy haunts populating this Hudson Valley Haunted Mansion…will you be the 1,000th?
Guided by the famously spooky Ghost Host, your doom buggy will twist and turn through the dark, creepy rooms of the Mansion. These ghosts aren’t too scary though, and are just silly enough to delight guests of any age!
Honorable Mention: The Halloween Cavalcades
The Halloween Cavalcades step off daily in Magic Kingdom, and I simply couldn’t exclude them from this haunted list of best spooky experiences!
Stake out a spot along the Magic Kingdom parade route for your chance to see Halloween Cavalcades featuring Mickey and friends, Jack Skellington, the Disney Villains, and more!
